  1. Are their instructions for installing the second seat?

  2. You will have to make sure you have the management tools for SQL Server installed on the first seat; otherwise you won't be able to give access to the second user.

I'm working on those instructions this week; please be warned that setting up the user is going to be a moderately complicated process.

  3. I'm very familiar with such things. Do I use the regular install process on the second computer?

  4. OK.

    Here's how to do it.

On the first computer, you want to get access set up to the Builder database tables (you'll know them when you see them) for another user. You can use Windows authentication or SQL authentication for this. Any user connecting to the Builder databases needs to have table writing privileges.

On the second installation, during the install of Builder itself, Builder will scan your computer for available SQL servers. Instead of "My Computer", select the SQL server that contains the Builder databases you've already installed (there will be an icon indicating this). Enter the login credentials in the spaces provided.

That's all you have to do.
