  1. You might remember me - we had a LONG to-do trying to fix a database problem from a few months ago. Well, it's back. I now have a laptop and do a lot of work on it with the Builder. And even as of last night it worked fine, so it doesn't seem to be a system-wide problem.

But today I came over to my office to build the August 9th service. Immediately it gave me that code that was generated as a result of my last problem, which reads: "The database cph_lsb_system appears to be missing or corrupted. Would you like Lutheran Service Builder to repair it? The message comes up twice and each time I say yes. The second time it just gives up and the Builder disappears.

Have no idea what is up, since the last time I used the Builder it worked fine. And the other time we had to put in that fix, the fix worked fine. Now it doesn't.

    Ideas??

  2. Have you attempted to run the Database Repair Tool for cph_lsb_system?

If you have and are still running into problems, please submit a system report so we can take a look.

  3. Oh yeah - nothing. But I did absent-mindedly forget to send you a system report. You should have it now.

One more thing. Am out of the office tomorrow and on vacation through Monday the 10th. If we can try to solve it yet this afternoon - great. If not, we will be waiting awhile.

  4. We're actually going to take the time to try and dive into this problem a little more here while you're out so we can try to come up with a more permanent solution. We certainly didn't think you'd run into it again, so there's some testing needed in order to solve the problem.

Email me when you get back in and we'll see what's developed over here.
