Is there a way to set custom pericopes using My Worship Resources?

My congregation uses a regular set of catechetical readings (portion of the Small Catechsim and some supporting passages of Scripture) each Sunday. These repeat on specific Sundays - e.g. the First Commandment is always the Sunday that falls August 31-September 7, Second Commandment (September 8-14), etc., etc., through the six chief parts, table of duties, daily prayers, and Nicene Creed. Like the post-Pentecost propers, these are assigned to a range of fixed calendar dates, irrespective of moveable Feasts.

The main reason I would like to do this is that there are some other congregations that use Service Builder that have been using this Catechetical reading schedule we have developed. I would love to be able to export this resource for them to be able to use as well.

  2. There's no way to do this in Builder as it stands right now, because the pericope functions are tied to the Lectionary modules.

I don't think we'd ever considered that someone would want to piece together a custom set of date/reading/suggestion groupings in the past.

We will mark it as a suggestion for future consideration.
