In the file for Advent II 2009 I imported the Creative Worship data into LSBuilder. When I did, there was no text for some elements (Lord's Prayer, Preface, Creed), presumably because there were only headings in the CW file. This means that powerpoint users would have to paste the texts for these back in in order to create slides from within LSB. Mary C. plans to correct this in the future. However, I suggest that it would be easier if the Creative Worship imports were only ADDED to the LSB file. That way, one could choose either the LSB Confession or the CW confession etc. After all, the point of CW is that we be "creative" and pick and choose from the elements available. When you bump out all the LSB items, you remove options.

Thanks for the suggestion!
In the Builder, there often about a dozen ways to do a single thing: like supplying optional content for a service. e.g. You can copy and paste the Holy Gospel directly into a service element --- but then Builder won't know that it's a reading --- and won't know to show you other readings.
CW files never remove LSB content; it's just that the Builder can't suggest the content you're used to seeing if it can't figure out what an element is (liturgically).
When we work out the right process for putting CW content into Builder (with all elements appropriately labelled), CW services will behave just as you're suggesting!

I am working on important Creative Worship into Lutheran Service Builder. I can figure out how to do that but I also need to use some elements (reading responses, Gospel responses, etc.) from Divine Service 1. Is there an easy way to do that?
