2.0.0016 Update Instructions (IMPORTANT!)

    I've just uploaded a patch file to 2.0.0016 to the Updater service; anyone running 2.0.0015 should receive it when reconnecting.

    If anyone installing it is forced to re-activate, could you please post here? I had to this morning and I'm trying to nail down the cause of it.

    This patch is going up and being pulled down a little bit this morning while I work on testing something. You might or might not get it; depends on when you check.

    I'll post again when it's up for good.

    OK; I lied.

    I had to make some changes to the Installer to stop it from doing some really irritating things. Instead, here are the new instructions for getting to version 2.0.0016:

    • If you have a previous version of Lutheran Service Builder 2 installed, uninstall it. Only uninstall Builder 2. You do not need to uninstall the CPH Software Updater or your Builder databases. They are fine. If you installed 2.0.0016 earlier today, you must also uninstall it.
    • Only uninstall Lutheran Service Builder 2.
    • Download this file: [REMOVED - 2.0.0017 is now available]
    • Install that version of LSB2.

    If you encounter any difficulties with this install, please leave a message here and we'll take a look at it.

    Our apologies for how long this took today. We plan on patching you two to three times per week until launch, so please download this update and make sure you're on board with 2.0.0016, as we'll be running Updater patches to get you upgraded from now on.

    I must activate LSB2 2.0.00020 each time I open the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times.

    Please search on your computer for the file lsb.log (you will have to enable searching for hidden files) and attach it to an email to lsbsupport@cph.org.

    We're currently trying to figure out why this is happening to some installs.

    What was the first beta version you installed? Do you remember?
