What file formats are supported by Lutheran Service Builder’s presentation output features?

Lutheran Service Builder 2.0 supports the following presentation formats:

• Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (.pptx)
• MediaShout 3.2 Presentations (.ssc)

Users of Microsoft PowerPoint versions 2000 through 2003 can download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats (a free download from Microsoft), which can convert PowerPoint 2007 files to earlier versions.

Users of presentation packages other than PowerPoint or MediaShout must export PowerPoint files and then import those files into their presentation software. In some cases—depending on the software—a conversion will be necessary from PowerPoint 2007 file format to 2003 file format. To do so, you will need to open the 2007 file in your copy of PowerPoint, then re-save the document in 2003 format.

Other than through PowerPoint files, we do not support using other presentation software packages at this time.
