Where can I find the accompaniment for the Builder-only hymns?

In the back section of the Accompaniment for the Hymns volume of Lutheran Service Book, you will find a series of pages that have a gray stripe on the outside margin. These pages contain hymn numbers 967–986. Accompanists should be informed that congregants who are using only the Pew Edition will not have access to these hymns without a printed copy from Lutheran Service Builder.

Are four-part settings available for the hymns in Lutheran Service Builder?

No.

Lutheran Service Builder contains only melody versions of all hymns in Lutheran Service Book. There are settings provided for liturgical elements in Divine Service, Setting Three and in portions of the Daily Office, but no hymns in Lutheran Service Builder contain four-part settings.

Will Bible translations other than the ESV be made available for Lutheran Service Builder?

Currently, only the English Standard Version translation of the Bible is available as an integral part of Lutheran Service Builder. We are currently evaluating the possibility of offering additional translations as separately-sold add-on modules for Lutheran Service Builder. We will release more information as it becomes available.

How does Creative Worship for the Lutheran Parish work with Lutheran Service Builder?

Beginning with the 2008–2009 series of Creative Worship, files formatted for use with Lutheran Service Builder will be made available to Creative Worship subscribers at no additional charge. These files will contain the services and service elements for each portion of Creative Worship.

Users will then have the ability to create the Creative Worship services for each Sunday (or midweek service), or use the materials in Creative Worship and Lutheran Service Book to combine the two in various ways.

Use of Creative Worship with Lutheran Service Builder requires an active subscription to both products.
