Some questions have rolled in as to the status of the 1.06 update and when to expect it (seeing as it contains several fixes to outstanding issues in 1.05 that are affecting some users). A release was scheduled and plans were made to roll out the update, but 1.06 has been sidelined for a little [...]
As we’re still prepping and testing 1.06 and making sure we have everything lined up to support our users, things have remained quiet, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t had some questions roll in (and even a few held over from last week’s Mailbag, because we had a huge number of questions roll in that [...]
After a week off from the Mailbag, and a lot of working behind the scenes to improve Builder, we’re back with more of your questions and more answers. A big thanks to all of our users for continuing to ask insightful questions about Builder, reporting errors or problems to us when they occur, and for [...]
A small series of data pushes was released to the automatic update servers late on Monday. All Lutheran Service Builder users should receive these updates on their next launch of Lutheran Service Builder. Occasionally, we’re asked by customers where they can find the Nicene Creed when they are working with one of the service outlines distributed with Lutheran Service Builder. We’ve seen this often enough that, after the 1.06 update becomes available, we will be moving the Creed selection to a new place in the process in order [...]
I’d like to thank those of you who sent in submissions using the Q&A thread we posted last Saturday in preparation for this week’s responses to your questions. In addition, I would encourage those of you who have additional questions that have not yet been asked/answered to post comments in this thread with your requests. [...]
With the release of Lutheran Service Book, Concordia Publishing House also made available two flavors of bookplates congregations could use to dedicate their purchased hymnals at the request of a donor or out of respect to a memorial gift. Occasionally, we receive calls on the Lutheran Service Builder support line with questions about how to [...]
A very common question I’m asked is how Lutheran Service Builder users can be informed of updates to Builder and other related news items when they happen. We’ve taken steps recently to try and improve our communications channels (this blog being the prime example), but there’s still some confusion as to how many methods of [...]
