Are you a frequent user of Lutheran Service Builder? Are you interested in testing out new versions of the software before they are released to all users? Are you willing to put up with bugs and problems if experiencing them and reporting their presence helps us to create a better product for the Church?

If you answered yes to all these questions, then we’d like to have you join us in the Lutheran Service Builder Public Beta program. We have our first candidate for release in the form of Lutheran Service Builder version 2.0.0017, and we would very much like to receive some early feedback from dedicated users.

If you are interested in joining us, then please read the documentation for the Public Beta, which is followed by installation instructions for Lutheran Service Builder 2.0.

There are a couple of things to note before you begin with Builder 2.0:

• You should NOT uninstall Builder 1.8 when or after you install Builder 2.0. The two versions are designed to coexist on the same computer, so if you run into a problem with 2.0, you can still use 1.x and get services done as needed.
• There is NO phone support available for beta versions of Lutheran Service Builder. Rather, you should enter an email support requests or (even better) post on the Beta forum in our discussion area right on this Web site.
