Data Update for August 11, 2008

A data push has just been uploaded to the automatic update service. All Lutheran Service Builder users should receive this update on their next load of Lutheran Service Builder while connected to the Internet.

This data push contains the following changes to the Lutheran Service Book hymnal database:

  • A text change has been made to LSB 379 (O Come, All Ye Faithful) to correct a capitalization error in the Spanish text.
  • The Nicene Creed in Divine Service, Setting One will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Post-Communion Collect in Divine Service, Setting Two will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Invocation in Divine Service, Setting Three will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Gloria in Excelsis in Divine Service, Setting Three will no longer display a Scripture reference as a default subcaption.
  • The Psalm in Divine Service, Setting Three will now display its heading by default.
  • The Creeds in Divine Service, Setting Three will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Thanksgiving in Divine Service, Setting Three will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Prayer for Forgiveness in Divine Service, Setting Four will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Gloria in Excelsis in Divine Service, Setting Four will no longer display a Scripture reference as a default subcaption.
  • Divine Service, Setting Five now properly contains two Distribution Hymns by default.
  • The Blessing of the Newly Baptized, the Invocation, and the Welcome in the service for Holy Baptism no longer always display the page number as a subcaption.
  • An extra “hosanna” has been removed from the text-only version of the Sanctus in Divine Service, Setting One.
  • Several elements in the service of Corporate Confession and Absolution will no longer display page numbers as default subcaptions.
  • The Kyrie, the Salutation and Collect of the Day, the Verse, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Concluding Collect in the Funeral Service will no longer display page numbers as default subcaptions.
  • The second instance of the Common Antiphon in the service of Matins will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Benediction in the service of Holy Matrimony will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The package for the Collect for Grace from the order of Morning Prayer now has the correct name, and it will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Holy Gospel in the order of worship for Passion Sunday will no longer list a non-existent page number as a default subcaption.
  • The Opening Versicles in Responsive Prayer 1 will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • Responsive Prayer 2 had page numbers as default subcaptions for several elements. They will no longer appear.
  • The Verbum Domini in the Service of Prayer and Preaching will no longer display a page number as a default subcaption.
  • Responsive Prayer 1 and 2 have been added as Rites, so users can now import them into other services.
  • The full Prayer of the Church from the Agenda version of the Funeral Service has been added to that service.
  • A frustratingly lingering problem with the Prayer of Thanksgiving in Divine Service, Setting Four has finally been diagnosed and completely resolved.
