Data Update for May 8, 2008

A data update (~2.3 MB) has just been posted to the Lutheran Service Builder automated update service, and users will be prompted to download changes on their next restart of Builder. This series of updates contains a handful of changes that have been waiting for a little bit, and a few small things intended to assist with reported problems.

The list of changes is in the full article.

The following changes have been made to the databases included with Lutheran Service Builder:

  • The text of the Opening Versicles in the Service of Prayer and Preaching should now be correct and complete for all users.
  • A handful of extraneous copyright notices appearing at the end of Settings One and Four will no longer appear.
  • LSB 922 has been altered to stop the wedding stanza from being selected by default.
  • LSB 449 has been altered to include only the stanzas present in the Pew Edition (this is correct and the stanza numbers should now match).
  • The General Rite of Blessing no longer displays “New Element” for the actual blessing text.
  • The Pew Edition Rites category in the Add Rites section has been eliminated. The same content is available in the more appropriate classifications brought over from the Agenda.
  • A stray verse number has been removed from the Good Friday Tenebrae Vespers service.
  • The “Preface” element has been altered to be liturgy-swappable.

As with any changes, if you should encounter any issues with these downloads, please contact Support at lsbsupport@cph.org or by phone at 800-346-6120 and a technician will be happy to assist you.
